About ICESA’23

The 2nd edition of the International Conference on Electrical Systems & Automation (ICESA 2023) was organized at the faculty of science and technology, Al Hoceïma, Morocco on 29 and 30, May 2023.

There were 140 paper submissions from 12 countries. Each submission was reviewed by at least two PC members. We accepted 69 regular papers (48%). Unfortunately, due to limitations of conference topics and edited volumes, the Program Committee was forced to reject some interesting papers, which did not satisfy these topics or publisher requirements.

All accepted papers are published as chapters in the Book Series “Advances in Science, Technology and Innovation” (ASTI) by Springer, indexed by Scopus in 2 volumes:
Volume 1: Advances in Electrical Systems and Innovative Renewable Energy Techniques.
Volume 2: Advances in Control Power Systems and Emerging Technologies.

The conference program featured a rich set of keynote session topics and tutorials that extend beyond the papers contained in these proceedings. There were four high-profile keynotes by eminent researchers:

• Pr. Amin BENNOUNA (Cady Ayyad University, Morocco)
• Pr. Houcine Chafouk (University of Rouen Normandy, France)
• Pr. Alfredo Vaccaro (University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy).
